A Little Bit About Me, The Founder of Free to Be Boutique
Hey girl! I'm Natalie, Founder and Creator of Free to Be Boutique.
It means so much to me that you're here.
I founded this boutique back in March 2020. That's right. It was just weeks before a pandemic happened across the world.
It was also just shy of three months after settling in to my new home in Colorado Springs. My husband and I had taken 8 months after getting married in 2019, and traveled the world.
Just months before saying our "I do's" we had accepted an opportunity in Italy that would last three months. The rest of the travel just kind of fell in to play. And it wasn't our first time leaving it all behind.
In 2015, we both quit our jobs and decided we had enough money saved up to buy one-way tickets to Lima, Peru with essentially zero plan other than to give ourselves time to explore and be free.
We knew that the rest would happen as it should.
Those two experiences are another story in themselves, but they play a huge role in my story and how I've chosen to live my life.
I choose to be free. To chase after life on my own terms. To understand that I have complete control over my life.
My inspiration for launching this boutique came from a unique perspective I gained from these experiences traveling, backpacking and living around the world where I learned what it truly means to be free. To not have to answer to anyone but yourself when it comes to how your day plays out. To live my life to the beat of my own heart.
I returned from my second sabbatical with a desire to create something that would continue to make my heart, soul and mind feel alive, excited, and free. I wanted something that was my own that I could share with others, while connecting with other awesome ladies in the process.
So came to be Free to Be Boutique. A dream made into reality.
My goal is to not only bring you pieces that add on to making you feel like the badass woman you truly are, but to also inspire and motivate you that we should take control of the power we have to go after the things we want, do what we love, and maintain that freedom of being.
